If it’s not on the back end of the tip, then it’s not genuine Tiger tip.*** Onyx - LTD laminated cue tips are made with the same bore hides as our Sniper tips. Each of the finest layers are then collected and aged with Tigers’ own secret process, turning each layer to black without using a black color dye. It is a very slow and time consuming process, however the end result is unbelievable to say the least. I like the feel of the tip, especially when using English.

Pretty basic stuff. Won't use the product for a few weeks.

This tip took my game to a whole new level. Easy to do the initial shaping, haven't touched it since. Hits like a medium hard, English reacts like a soft tip. Holds chalk extremely well with little touch ups. Highly recommend if you play regularly.

I'm sure most pool shooters have tried a number of different cue tips over their playing careers trying to find that special combination of feel, durability and control that improves their game. I think I've found mine!. Until something better comes along I find the hardness and deflection of the Onyx tip just right, and they last for a long time without compressing or wearing out.

One of the best. Occasionally I’ll purchase another brand of tip thinking that there’s better out there. But I always come back to the Tiger brand and this particular tip is the one I always buy. If there’s superior tip out there I certainly haven’t found it yet.
