This little gadget is really cool but does take some getting used to. Be mindful and a little patient as well as READ THE INSTRUCTIONS that it comes with. Initially I was unsure how to operate the device and read that I needed to change something with my phone to enable something in the control center and after that I was able to figure out how to use.An added feature that I like is that this serves as a phone stand as well which I was not aware of until a co worker of mine showed me. The product comes with a usb dongle so you can plug and play into other devices but I paired with my Apple iPhone 14 with no problem and have not used the dongle it comes with yet. Has a charging case that the device sits in while charging which is required since there is no way to charge it directly- it has 2 prong like things that connect when placed into the case and charges when the case is plugged in. Easily fits on your finger and the silicone band has a opening so it can is one size fits all- the top of the device serves as the “mouse” and touch is detected easily so you can move around your screen and even scroll just by touching the top- these is also a scroller wheel type thing that allows you to scroll down quickly if you need to. So far I have enjoyed using this and can say it has helped my scroller finger pain. I had never heard of these gadgets before this and I’m most certainly going to be getting these for stocking stuffers for some of the kids I know during the holidays.

There’s no denying this little gadget is cool. The moment I unboxed it, I felt like I was about to pilot a drone—or maybe open a wormhole. It’s sleek, it glows just enough to look futuristic without going full gamer neon, and it definitely doesn’t scream “basic office mouse.” So, props for style—it gets a solid 4 out of 5 for the look and feel alone. But then I tried to actually use it.This thing has more ways to move a cursor than a cat on espresso. Scroll ring, trackball, buttons on the sides—it’s like the designer had a dream where every control method needed representation and decided to fit them all into one device. At first, I thought I’d be zipping around with ergonomic efficiency. In reality, I kept switching between scrolling and cursor control like someone trying to shift gears with a joystick. And that scroll ring? Neat in theory, a little stubborn in practice. Sometimes I’d barely touch it and end up zooming past where I wanted to be. Other times I’d give it a deliberate flick and it wouldn’t respond until it felt like it. The cursor control via trackball is smooth once you dial it in—but dialing it in took longer than I expected.Usability gets a 3 out of 5 from me. It’s not bad, just… busy. If you’re someone who uses one or two buttons and wants simplicity, this might make your brain sweat a little. But if you’re into tinkering with control schemes or want to impress coworkers with a mouse that looks like it should launch satellites, this is definitely your jam.I wouldn’t call it plug-and-play; more like plug-and-figure-it-out. But if you stick with it, you might just end up loving it. Or at least respecting it the way you respect a stubborn but brilliant pet.Bottom line: great concept, awesome design, and just a bit too complicated for its own good. But hey, if nothing else, it’s a great conversation starter—and probably the best-looking mouse on your desk.

First off this ring does everything the item description says. I’m just not smart enough to use it properly. Once I get it going, I always set it down pick it back up and it’s backwards and I start scrolling over videos. I’ve already saw that I have to go the other way And then I’ll somehow turn it around and reverse it again. That’s what happens when old people try new tech. This item came well protected in a nice package. Once unboxed hooking it up to my Bluetooth was very easy. I went ahead and charge the unit and gave it a shot. It works perfect if you can remember which direction to scroll and don’t hold it backwards on your finger. I really like the ability and the idea to scroll through TikTok’s on my phone using this because it’s much easier than swiping it just comes with added challenges for old people. Please don’t let this stop you from getting it because it does exactly what it’s supposed to. It will make watching TikTok’s more pleasant and easier. Because of that this easily earns five stars.

It is probably better-suited to phones than typical interafaces you'll run into on a desktop or laptop. Possibly useful for presentations. It presents as a standard HID input device over 2.4GHz, which makes it easy to reconfigure what is done by the ring mouse inputs for whatever specific task you may have. I used Zadig and set the drivers on the device to use libusbK, then read data sent on clicks/movement via a Python script, then labeled what they were. The mapping is attached as an image if you should be so interested (with the caveat that replacing the driver will remove its ability to be used as a mouse in the OS unless you add that functionality back in or revert to original Microsoft driver). The basic idea of the process should be applicable for whatever custom drivers are equivalent for Mac or Linux. At least over the 2.4GHz dongle, latency is excellent, and range is decent. The reason I say it may not be well-suited to a desktop/laptop is due to the touchpad; fine control is difficult, with it difficult to move a few pixels over to a small button. Mobile interfaces generally have pretty big buttons (at least by pixel count), so I imagine it's less of an issue there.Documentation included is very good, relatively speaking. Build quality is okay; it feels on the cheaper side, especially the case. The ring stays attached to my finger pretty well. The mouse is tiny and better-suited to non-large fingers.
