This little tool works great after a little practice. I've used it on about 200ft of edging so far. You have to pay attention to the direction of the grain, and it may change in the roll, then use firm pressure. I get no tearing and smooth edges.I can even separate the two sides and use as a single edge trimmer.The only issue I've had is if you knock this thing off of the table the sides are not connected in any way, so your looking for two springs that shoot off.

The blades on this tool do not come sharpened. You need to sharpen them or they will tear the banding insteadof cutting it.

Easy to use. I used on one side at a time because I was putting edging on 1/2 inch plywood. Once trimmed it only took a little finish sanding and I was ready to stain.

Buen producto. Ahorra tiempo al cortar de manera exacta los bordes del cubrecanto lo cual hace que se pague sólo en poco tiempo.La calidad del material con el que está fabricado parece no ser el mejor sin embargo no parece tampoco el peor.Bueno en general y fundamental para ahorrar tiempo sobretodo.

The trimmer is not as smooth as other trimmers. Also, the unit falls apart and the springs fly all over. It's just not a quality product, especially when edge banding furniture grade oak plywood. The blades have a tendency to either not cut directly along the edge of the material or cuts too deeply scoring the edge of the plywood. I have been making furniture for 42 years and this trimmer is definitely not the best. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
