Timbren Suspension Kits (SES Kits) are designed to enhance the suspension of your vehicle. Easiest to use: Rubber cushions absorb road shocks and automatically adjust to uneven loads or road conditions. Easiest to maintain: There are no airlines or fittings to allow leaks. Simply bolt the kit on and you are set for a lifetime of trouble free suspension.Easiest to install: There are no holes to drill, no airlines to route and SES Kits can be installed in a matter of minutes using basic hand tools. The softer ride quality of todays trucks and the mediocre suspensions found on most trailers can cause excessive trailer sway, instability and suspension settling.Timbrens high performance suspension packages will ensure added safety and peace of mind.

Considered all the options on suspension enhancement for my F150, these work...Went with them because airbags would require continual adjustment. These have not effected the ride of my truck when not under load and take out the sag when it is....Easy install, did the job in 40 minutes

I have used these on my F-150 hauling wood. I also went across Canada carrying a 1300 pound camper. These kept the truck level and limited sway. The truck also runs smooth empty as long as you are not on rough roads where you will notice them.

I have a 2020 F150 XLT and haul a 28ft/6,000 lbs trailer (trailer fully loaded). The stock truck would squat horribly when driving. After installation, the truck is close to level without being able to manually adjusting. It is an inexpensive way to level your truck and a whole lot easier to install than expensive air bags.

I tow a 29' hitch to bumper light weight travel trailer (3075kg dry) with a 5.0 Ford F150. Have a good weight distribution system but squating has been an issue and when road was not even the truck was up and down..after installing this upgrade, drive is bit stiff but trailer and truck more in control. Love it! Truck is bit bumpy with no trailer but very minor stiffnes. I recommend this upgrade if you are having same problems.

I just bought my truck a few months ago. Tried to install the Airlift Airbags to tow my travel trailer but that was not possible. At this time, Airlift does NOT make airbags to fit my Ford F150 SuperCrew 4X4 ecoboost. They only make them to fit NON ECOBOOST trucks because the exhaust pipe rolls over the rear axle too close to where the airbag would mount on the right side. SO.... I researched and found these. They literally took 20 minutes to install in my driveway without having to jack the truck. Just make sure you have metric sockets and a metric ratchet wrench and your good to go!

First order that I received was missing half of the parts. The company quickly replaced the item, the item arrived in the original box that was torn open on my porch, all parts were there. After inspection and some pre assembly, the welded nut on one of the brackets was off center and wouldn't accept the bolt to fasten the rubber Timbren bag.Opted for refund.

Bought these for my 2021 F150 heavy half instead of airbags after being so disappointed with the ride on my last one. Have been running for a month and wouldn’t go back to airbags for anything. A colleague runs helper springs (Helwigs) and also rides stiffer than me. Photos are taken when my payload is about “medium” with wooden coffin box packed with tools and a few hundred pounds of gear. The Timbrens are just off the plates and don’t usually engage until I add another hundred pounds or hook up to a trailer, or travel on rough roads. I’m just riding on factory suspension. Here’s why I recommend;-price point - cheaper than air bags and a good bang for your buck compared to leaf packs-install - 5 bolts per side, done in less than an hour with a basic socket set-ride - you don’t feel a difference from factory until you’re loaded. The Timbrens just hang out where your factory bump stops used to be, and when you’re light, they stay out of the way and don’t impact performance or comfort in any way.-performance - Once you’re loaded and they’re in contact with the plates atop the axel, you’ve got all the added suspension I’d be comfortable putting on a half ton anyway. Factory springs are still working, but now they’ve got the help and support where needed the most, and you don’t feel catapulted or bounced on every bump.Only thing I’ll say about install tips is that it’s way easier to do when you’re empty. Directions said to jack the frame up so your axel is hanging, but I was able to do just parked. Suspension was brand new with only 50km on it from the dealership, mind you. Will definitely go this route again in the future.

These are very easy to install. I installed them on an '18 F150. With the extra spacer installed between the Timbren and the bracket, I have about 1/2 to 3/4" gap between the bottom of the timbren and the plate on top of the rear axle. With the stock shocks I found that when hitting larger bumps, like cattleguards for example, the Timbren's would contact the bottom plate, resulting in a fairly hard jolt. So if you want your truck to ride like a car, leave the spacer out. I put the Timbrens in because I was purchasing a 10k lbs toy hauler and to help keep the truck level I installed the spacer. Without the spacer I would have had to compensate a lot more for the sag with the weight distribution hitch. If you want the best solution to heavier towing I would recommend, as I did, installing rear (and front) shocks meant for heavy towing at the same time as the Timbrens. The stock shocks on the F150 are too soft for heavy towing and though the Timbrens alone help a lot, better shocks will make the ride much more comfortable.

The Timbren SES, works! Installed on a 2020 F-150 Ecoboost that tows a 8500 lb boat/trailer.I reduced my overall sag a total of 2" and retained a firm control while towing. The suspension system does not rest on the rear axle while not loaded so the regular suspension is unaffected (adding the spacers will cause it to contact the axle when unloaded if you're looking for a full-time solution). Install was generally straightforward and the instructions were clear. The only hiccup, a minor one, was that on the 2020's Ford added a hose-clip harness to the axle in the general area where you'd attach the mounting plate on the driver-side. So I had to cut a small notch out of the metal mounting plate (there's plenty of extra "lip" material) so it could fit on the axle with enough clearance to not rub on the leaf springs. Other than that, install was a breeze!I am extremely happy with these. They definitely do what they say and save you the extra cost of a totally upgraded suspension.

Super easy install. Takes less than an hour with min tools. I just blocked the front tires and jacked the truck up on the rear hitch with a floor jack. Remove the bolt holding the factory bump stops and then install the timbren set up.I have a 17 f150 4x4 crew cab with the 6.5' bed and the max tow package. The truck is used for a contracting business in which I carry alot of tools, ladders, in a work topper and bed slide. The rear dropped about 2" with the added weight without towing a trailer. I used the supplied spacer also. This return the factory ride height and handling. I do not notice a harsher ride. I'm always on the bump stops now which may be different than people not always carrying a load.I chose this system over airbags due to the simplicity and maintenance free. Airbags seem to never hold the air pressure long unless you install an on board compressor system. The only negative I have found is the powercoating/paint was chipping off in the box. I'm not sure why they waist their time with such a cheap coating. I will have to spray paint them as the paint continues to fall off.

I had intended on ordering an airbag setup for my 2018 Ford F-150. I came across this and decided for the price to give it a try. Shipping was great. Installation took about 30 minutes. My truck is 2wd so I didn’t use the spacer. After installation I have about a 3/4” gap. I took the truck for a test drive and it performed great. Suspension is a little stiff over substantial bumps. Overall very good. Hooked the camper up and the rear of the truck only dropped about 1/2” past bottom. Truck and camper are both sitting level. Took a lot of bounce out while towing. Definitely recommend.

I installed these myself. It just took a decent jack to make this a very easy job. The first one took about 45 minutes because of reinstallation and sizing the gap. The second one took about 10min once you figure out the best way to do it. For some reason they don't like the holes up very well and it makes putting the mounting bracket on difficult.I am not sure why this kit comes with the plate on the bottom as older kits did not from the install videos I watched. With my f150 I did not need the spacer if I put the plate on the axle. If you don't you will want to use the spacer. This is well thought out as it does not change my ride on a daily basis but when I load it up you can feel it. You can also feel it when hitting speed bumps as it has a harder kick and you feel the bumps more because you are riding on the axle now which is the point. The ride while towing is acceptable for the short amount I have done so far. I will update after out next trip but it has greatly helped to level out the truck without trying to kill myself tighteng the AD hitch now. The truck feels better with less bounce on the bumps but you do feel it.I think they are pricy for what they are but I feel a bit like they are trying to fit in the airbag market so they had room. Seems to do the trick well and many people go this route over airbags to simplify the install if they were like me.
