My 2013 TDI started puking coolant. It didn't take long to figure out it was the pump, and of course it's timing belt driven.I needed a water pump for sure, and every item in this kit is a great idea to replace at the same time so I pulled the trigger.Everything fit as it should, and a month later the car is running great.Notes:1). One video I watched specified using a water pump with a metal impeller. I almost returned this because of it.*THE OEM Water Pump is PLASTIC*2). The belt does not have timing marks, so be prepared to make some.Set TDC and clearly mark timing on the old belt. Transfer these marks to the new belt.*I used a paint Marker.*The Tensioner Moves everything, and it took several attempts to get it right.3). There are NO instructions with this kit. Procedure & Torque values are on the Web, but be prepared to search.Still a 5* review because everything looked great and fit/functioned exactly as it should.

This ad said it would work on my 2013 VW Passat TDI and I found the belt to be wrong size (too thin) luckily I didn’t ruin my engine. Buy an original VW belt and save yourself from doing it twice.
