A high-quality timing belt kit with water pump, usually located in the front of the engine, wrapped around a series of gears. The noise and the transmission resistance is small, the operation is stable, which reduce the damage of the car.
The timing belt coordinates the rotations of the camshaft and crankshaft which in turn, ensures that the valves and pistons all move in sync.
We recommend replacing your kit regularly for 60,000-100,000 miles.Over time the belt expands or contracts due to heat and age which cause the belt to slowly deteriorate.when replacing the timing belt, you'd better replace the water pump and other timing components to avoid further engine damage.

What Does a Timing Belt Do?
The timing belt keeps the camshaft and crankshaft turning at the correct rate.The crankshaft moves pistons up for compression and exhaust cycles, while the pistons move down for power and intake cycles. Depending on the vehicle make, a timing belt will also run the water pump, oil pump and injection pump.
When do the timing belt with water pump need to be replaced?

Although it states it was for my Miata, the gasket was incorrect. We had to buy a different gasket for the valve cover.

The only part of this kit that fit was the water pump. Although the gasket for the water pump was damaged in the package. The valve cover gasket is molded incorrectly and will not work. Timing cover dust shield shown in picture was not included in the package. Cam and crank seals are incorrect for this engine. Timing belt is too short making installation nearly impossible and maxes out the timing belt tensioner causing timing belt noise when engine is running.

Several components were the wrong size, or were fabricated wrong.The water pump features a post that holds one end of the timing belt tensioner, but the post was installed in the wrong position making it impossible for the spring to apply any tension. Photos shows the old oily water pump with the spring needing to be stretched onto the post, and the new water pump with the relaxed spring too long to apply any tension when placed on the post. It looks like the post was drilled into the wrong spot on the casting. The springs are the same length, but the water pump is fabricated wrong.Also, the crankshaft oil seal was the wrong size; way too small. The two cam seals were OK.Product was supposed to fit my '93 Miata, 1.6 L engine. Other parts fit OK, but I'm upset that I got the water pump mounted before learning that the timing belt could not be properly tensioned with these parts.

Horrible kit, nothing fits properly. Had to order valve cover gasket from Napa because the kit gasket didn’t even come close to fitting. Mechanic had to fight getting every part on the engine from this kit. Once put back together there was a terrible whine coming from the timing belt. There was absolutely no slack available to adjust properly. Drove car for 100 miles hoping belt would loosen up. It did not only get worse whining. Ended up ordering another kit through Napa and paying the mechanic to change it all again. Napa kit went right on as it should everything fit perfectly. It was a very expensive repair having to do this twice! Do not buy this horrible kit, total waste of money.

Gasket holes are smaller than stock, hard to fit. Feel over-stretching it, water pump impeller is made from pot metal, consider using a Gates water pump otherwise prob need to change every 50k miles versus 120k. All other hardware was decent quality
