Tibetan Tingshas are small Prayer Chimes used by Tibetan Buddhist Monks, Yoga Teachers, Holistic Health Practitioners, and Meditation Groups. Medium Tingsha Tibetan hand chimes tuned to the key of Om. A solid leather strap to connects these two tingshas for sturdy use. Beautiful sound and hand made by Nepali artisans. It can be played by tapping the rims together or by clapping them together like cymbals. Each set come with a free silk brocade case.

Lovely, adorned with Tibetan art. Cute little cloth container and a piece if felt to go between the cymbals when being stored to prevent damage. They are loud, durable and great quality. Good buy!!

Value's fantastic for a Nepalese made item to be bought in Canada/North America. The metal is rich, has multiple timbres within its ring, and has a medium length sustain. Very acute and powerful upon first note - a strong leading edge to the tone, that then cascades fairly quickly into a multi-timbral shimmer. Overall medium to higher frequency based. Nice find. Love the little travel bag.
