Product Specifications
Hypoallergenic
Alpaca wool does not cause allergies because, unlike sheep's wool, it does not contain lanolin (a wax that is highly absorbed by the skin and is present in sheep animals).
However, as alpaca wool is an animal fiber, its molecular structure is very similar to human hair and contains microscopic keratin flakes that can cause itching in some skins, also influenced by the humidity of the environment.
If this occurs, we recommend washing the garment with cold water and shampoo, rinse and soak in water with conditioner for 30 minutes, rinse, place on a towel and roll up without wringing to remove excess water and leave to dry in the shade on a dry towel.
Increased comfort
Only absorbs 2% of water in a humid environment, this property allows easy removal of moisture from the body and is pleasant to wear.
Better dimensional stability
The manufactured garments do not lose their original shape after washing.
Simple Garment Care
Can be washed by hand or machine in a delicate clothes, with mild soap and water at less than 30C. It is recommended not to wring and dry on a flat surface.
Balance Between Cost & Quality
A garment woven with 100% alpaca wool is expensive and out of reach for many. This is why we have obtained a combination of fibers allowing us to offer you a product of excellent quality at a good value.

I really like the color & quality of this vest. I ordered an extra large and it was still a little too small. It the vest looked so nice, I kept it anyway. I may order another one but, a little larger and give this one to a friend.

This sweater vest is soft, comfortable, and an unobtrusive way to add an extra layer of warmth when I ride my bike to work in the winter in USDA Zone 7. It takes my flannel shirts up a notch from casual to business casual when I wear them tucked in with slacks and oxford shoes, so I can wear my flannel shirts to work at a law firm. I also wear the vest with my suit for extra warmth when I need to head over to the court house a few blocks away from the firm, since otherwise the wind would really cut through me in January and February.
