They went on and came off easily and seemed like they would work well. Can’t guarantee that though because I never actually used them. I put them on my mower along with a snow blade I bought in the fall, anticipating our normal 2-3 snows a year and then nothing! No snow all winter. Not even a dusting. So disappointing.Wait, maybe these chains are even better than I thought? Maybe they are magic chains! Just by putting them on, it made all the snow go away! The description said nothing about how they worked. Perhaps these are the best item on Amazon! They don’t give your yard machine more traction, they just make it so you don’t need the traction in the first place! Genius! I’m going to have to test this hypothesis. Someone who lives in Alaska or Canada let me know if I’m correct. We may have just saved cities millions of $$’s in snow removal all over the world! All we need to do is send a set of these out to every snowbound city resident and “POOF” there goes all the snow. Buffalo and Eastern Cleveland could save a mint.
