This is a much-needed product for many of those who have purchased a lithium-ion battery powered tire inflator product. Many of the inflators are provided with a short or even a very short inflation hose which can make it more difficult than it needs to be to re-inflate a low-pressure tire. This hose is 9-inches long and it is equipped with a lock-on chuck to make certain that the hose stays attached to the tire’s inflation valve and also to enable the quick and positive removal of the chuck from the valve when the inflation process is completed. Additionally, this hose is built with a braided nylon cover on the outside of the hose to make the hose strong and relatively impervious to damage. In addition to the 9” air hose, this product provides two additional lock-on tire air chuck converters for use with those air hoses that are the screw-on type. The screw-on type air hoses are often difficult to quickly remove from the tire’s inflation valve, after the tire pressure has been adjusted. This often causes an unwanted drop in tire pressure. These lock-on tire air chuck converters simply screw into the air hose’s 5/16” X 32 threaded connection to provide the user with the benefits of the locking air chuck without the need and expense to replace the air hose. This product appears to be well constructed of quality materials and I have found that it works well with my tire inflator. Thank you for producing a quality product.

I have a number of different air pumps. Some of them have regular Schrader threads at the end of the hose - i.e., they're meant to thread onto your valve stem. Although this works, it's a bit laborious to use. The hose extension included in this kit screws into a female Schrader thread, and provides a quick clamp-on end, thus solving the problem of having to thread your hose onto each tire. For that alone, it's worth having. If you have a hose with a Shrader end, you may also find the quick-release chuck ends helpful. All in all, this is a decent set to have in your bag of tricks.
