I have one of those manual tire changers, and it is so much easier to use with lube. These brushes have a hollow handle, so just fill it up and you can apply the perfect amount of lube right where it needs to go. Easy to apply, prevents waste and makes tires much easier to change.

these are pretty cheaply made. since my intended use for the is applying tire dressing, their quality is not critical to me. it does lose bristles here and there, but it's not a huge deal to me. it saves my rags for other uses and i just flick the leftover bristles off the tires. i can see why this can be an issue for people that need to use these to apply bead lubricant since you don't want leftover bristles on your tire bead

These applicator swabs have a good angle for applying paste. The bristles have a good stiffness for the job. However, the bristle arrangement is a bit unusual. They are set in two semi-circular patterns, meaning the central part of the brush head is largely hollow, with bristles forming an outer ring and a line along the middle. This design impacts how much product can be held. I also noticed that some bristles tend to come loose during use. Overall, it's a good value for a budget brush--perfect for an occasional user like me.

Tire brushes are great, great value for the price.

I got this set to use on my tire changer build. They are cheap lube brushes. I rubbed them against my hand and I didn't notice any of the bristles come off. However, the inside of these things are hollow as you can see from the picture. I am not sure how long they will last as I haven't finished my build yet. They come in at a little over $4 a piece, I don't know.

Been using cotton mops. These work better and seem to hold the lube better.

Works as advertised, easily scrubs wheel dust off the wheels when washing your car. Good length, could be a bit longer, but that's just nit-picking.

I like the bend in the handle. This makes it much easier to apply tire lube to the bead. These brushes loose bristles way too easily though, and leave them all over the tire bead. Kind of a pain.
