This Cable Connect the TRS plug into the "insert" jack of your mixing board. The tip of the jack is a send (sending a mono signal to an external effects professor) and the ring is the return (returning a mono signal from the external effects processor back into the mixing board).

Working with a Yamaha digital piano with a single aux/headphone out jack, and a Mackie amp/PA with separate stereo in L and R inputs. This cable is able to preserve the stereo output of the piano, thru the amp, and then out to headphones or an interface or mixer. I use it to stream/record piano audio in OBS on my PC and didn't want to settle for mono audio since the piano natively has a nice broad stereo sound. This cable does exactly what I needed.
