I love this carabiner for hanging my bear spray on the hiking pack. I can clip it anywhere , the bear spray is easy to get to and just pull away.

When I ordered this, I didn't really know how much I would use it, but I figured it would probably be great to have. I was right. I'm sure it's meant for things like water bottles that you can just clip on and take off easily to get a drink from. I used it to leave my headphones on the outside of my bag because they're a little bulky and I don't want them inside, but I also want quick access to them. So I put the case on my bag. That way I still have quick access to it, but they're in a place where they're not in the way. This thing works great, the ability to just press the side buttons and slip it off and then not really have to worry about clipping it back on, just magnetizing on is a great function, and I wish I had more of them.

They are very convenient. I wish they had a little more weight to them because instead of hanging isolated they stick to other things on my key ring.

The pins add the strength so that the chain can hold the 40 lbs. that the photos show. It was always a chore to reconnect the ring to the keys. But this design makes it, quite literally, a snap! The magnet is strong so that it really helps pull it and claps the little prongs.I wish the carabiner was a little wider on the narrow part. It binds just a little when the magnetic holder is in that section. I think if the metal edges were smoother around the hole, it would probably slide better. I hesitate to knock down those edges, but I probably will. I know that it will expose the silver aluminum, but I’m okay with that.I’m using this with an airpods case and it’s a significant upgrade to what came with the case.AMAZON PHOTO/DESCRIPTION ACCURACY: The photos and description are accurate. Just remember, the strength of the clasp isn’t the magnet, it’s the pins. Very convenient. The magnetic release is extremely sturdy, but easy to use. The carabiner locks nicely, however for personal preference I wish it were a bit bigger. The magnetic feature also only fits on the carabiner it comes with, it would be great if they sold that piece alone. For a two pack though, its definitely worth the price!
