This unit comes in two pieces; the mounting plate is compatible with skid steer loaders or tractors equipped with the SSQA or Universal Skid Steer Style Quick Tach System. Crafted from durable steel construction, this forestry attachment features a 3-inch square main boom with a 1.25-inch hole at the tip of the beam and a 32inch-long spot at the angle to attach chains or a clevis hook. The pin-attached Tree Boom Attachment has a great reach and is essential for anyone in the landscaping or nursery industry.

Yes, it's heavy because it's not high tensile steel. Four stars because I had to take the die grinder to the top opening because there was a bad fit when it was welded up, the boom is a pretty exact fit. Very pleased so far, but the true test will come when I start moving 6 foot eco-blocks around. I'll update accordingly with a video. Note: I purchased directly from Titan - a long time customer.

I use this boom attachment probably every 2 weeks for one thing or another. It’s great for being able to reach out or to lift things much higher than the bucket can. My only downfall is it’s a little heavy for one person to move around easily which can make storing it difficult. This is not a complaint against the product though. I would recommend this

I received this order in 4 days. Although I won't be using it until spring, It is like the other 2 Titan attachments that I own, extremely well built out of the finest materials. Although it was heavy, it's 2 piece construction enabled me to pick it up and load it in my sports utility vehicle by myself (I'm 72) which is oftentimes a necessity when living in the country. When looking for a sid steer attachment I will invariably look for a Titan. At my age, it's just common sense to seek out the best bang for the buck

I really like the 2 piece design makes it easier for older people like me 70 to install on the tractor,It is very well built,reinforced where it needs to be I was moving equipment with it 20 minutes after fedex dropped it off. I looked at the 3 point hitch booms but I like having on the front so I can menuver it around much easier fit perfect on my mahindra 4540 quick attach. and shipped fast 2 days

We almost bought the one listed on amazon that uses a 4" tube instead of Titan"s 3" tube. We bought the Titan because it had good reviews and the same load rating.The Titan comes in two pieces with a pin.The other brand weighs more and is one piece. I can put the titan on by myself, one piece at a time. If I had the one piece I would never use it because I would need help to put it on.Great design...

Great Attachment. It comes in two sections and boom slides into perfectly fit hitch section and is secured with a pin like a trailer hitch which is brilliant for storage and potentially using the mount plate for other purposes. It’s well built and has two attachment points on boom.

Delivery came earlier than said which was nice. I assembled it because it comes as two pieces and found the boom does not fit the plate as designed. I was able to get the pin in the bottom of the 3 in boom, but when in place it lifted the boom and the welded plate on the boom now was a 1/4 in above the skidster plate putting all the down pressure on the pin.I assume the plate was welded to the boom to take the load and the pin is there to keep it in place. There needs to be a better match between the two components.I will still be able to use it and would have given 5 stars had it not been for this flaw.

This thing is strong for the price. It fits universal skid steer mount. The previous reviewer doesn't know how to read or doesn't know about his machine. Either or his review is pointless.
