I have an old AMSPRAY DSP 1400 sprayer. The original suction hose had a hard plastic fitting that screwed into the bottom of the pump housing. Over the years it got cross threaded. This hose not only fit, but is better than the original. The fitting is metal so cross threading won't be an issue. The filter screen is also easier to clean.
