I didn't do extensive testing, but this probe read within 1 degree C of a couple of other probes that I trust. It seems to be made of quality materials, except that the connector seems just a bit cheap. I'm pretty sure the spades are not the same metals as the thermocouple wires. That seems to be happening more and more these days, but I think it should be pointed out by the manufacturer, and it was not. Hence, 1 star off.

Checked the accuracy of this thermocouple temperature sensor, and it's within the range stated by the manufacturer of + or - 1.5 degree F. No obvious defects, should work well for the deep fat fryer we are rebuilding.
