Used this on a new build based on a 98 Vortec block. I'm not sure if there's a standard for the pin assignments on these or not but the fact that the pin ID and assignment is laser etched right on the side saved me a ton of worry. I connected it to a gauge that had come with a sending unit but that was long gone. The harness from the gauge matched up to the connector on the sending unit perfectly but no response form the gauge initially. I was able to refer to the info provided right on the sending unit to determine that the ground and signal wires were reversed on my harness. Switched the two around and things were golden. I mention that specifically because other sending units I have do not show that info. It was a life saver for me today. One small issue was that it doesn't clear aftermarket manifolds on SBC. I have an Edelbrock intake and the cutout for the sending unit wasn't big enough to facilitate direct installation. I had to use a 1/8 NPT male to 1/8" NPT female adapter to lift it up enough to clear. Just be aware of that. Most intakes are designed for mechanical gauges using compression fittings, so it's not a flaw on the part of the sending unit, just a bit of info I'm passing along to save an unexpected trip to the hardware store.

Got this to hook up to a wifi sensor to remotely test and graph out pressure readings on equipment we believe we're having air pressure problems on. I use a regulator block, extra air gauge, and this hooked into the same space to test the accuracy, and it was actually rather accurate. The voltage readings I got were easy for me to shift a bit to match up, and once that was set, it tracked good enough to get an idea of what we're dealing with. I'm satisfied with what we got, so Ill probably end up getting some 150PSI and 200PSI versions to use. The input voltage for this to function is decent, 5 to 16 so you can use this for something you'd power off of USB, or vehicle voltages.

I use these pressure senders for various projects around my house. One monitors my pool pump, and one monitors the air compressor in the garage. I have them connected to assorted ESP32 modules running ESPHome and they can drive all kinds of automations.
