I was not sure how these would work at first, but after a little bit of using them on the field they have some good benefits. The bases allow you to put them in places where you cannot or do not want to have spikes going into the soil. This is especially useful on indoor areas and turf fields. The poles attach very easily and quickly as two yellow pieces stuck together with a joining plastic nub. The sticks are a good height but they just sit into the base. They are fine but within 10 minutes of setting them up, a ball hit one and it popped out of the base completely. These are good in situations but in others might be difficult. I think they could be improved with some kind of flared base to keep them from popping out.The bases are just heavy. Carrying 6 of these out to the field means I need to find a good bag that will hold them or get a cart.Overall I think they're useful and a good set, but they do have some challenges that could be improved on.

If you're looking for a durable heavy weight set, look no further. We got these for the soccer club. They are heavy weight and easy to setup. The base is heavy weight and keeps the poles up right even in strong winds. The team loved them. They set them up at every practice. And with winter coming, you can use them indoors. So they are duo purpose. Very pleased with this set.
