We used it for my 4 yo on a 16-hour flight. We did not follow the instructions but we used the velcro on the tray and the strap around the back of the seat and that configuration worked better.

Went one American Airlines and they said this was not APPROVED. And was missing the seal of approval that it claims to be. So they wouldn’t let me use it all flight.

This GOCOZY Toddler Airplane Bed is a great travel essential to have with you on a flight. It gives your child room to play and sleep.It measures 31.5 x 17.7 and works with children up to 55 pounds. Comes with its’ own storage bag to make traveling easier.It installs easily. Pass each side of the seatbelt on the airplane bed through the velcro strips, attach the lock buckle to the tray table arm and lock the tray back into the closed and locked position, and enjoy the trip. The material fills the gap giving a nice amount of material to play or sleep.The material is soft and comfortable fleece. The back side has a nonslip material to ensure that it remains on for the duration of the flight. There is a side pocket for necessities and it comes with a ‘My Farm sticker book’ to keep your child busy on the flight.I absolutely love this idea and my only wish would be that they could make something similar for adults.This works best with window or middle seats but it will not fit all planes. It is important to check with the airline to make sure it will work.4 1/2 stars!

I haven't had a chance to try out GoCozy's Airplane Toddler Bed on an airplane yet, and I won't for a while. Trying it out around the house, it seems to work okay as a seat extender, provided most of the child's weight is resting on the airplane seat, with just their legs or toys resting on the unsupported portion. I love how soft it is and that it includes a drawstring carry bag. The included sticker book is cute, though more something you'd want to use at home than on an airplane.On the downside, the velcro is very weak. It pulls apart with so little effort that a toddler could easily undo it themselves. It says both online and on the outer box that it is machine washable, but the tag on the bed itself says to hand wash only and hang dry. This is probably because the stitching around the edges is really poor. There's only a single row of stitches, and all of them are wide, basting-type stitches that wouldn't last long in a washer or dryer. The instructions are also confusing. They show you're supposed to buckle it around the seat the child is sitting in, but then also show using the buckle around the tray table in front of the child, which is impossible as there is only a buckle on one end of the bed, not both.

This little toddler plane bed was so easy to fold up I didn’t even have to use my carry on space I just put it in the bottom of the stroller. The size was perfect for my toddler & really comfortable he slept almost the whole 9 hour flight. If you are traveling with a little one get this!

This travel bed for airplanes has been a lifesaver for flying with a toddler. It does take a minute to set up—especially in the tight space of an airplane seat—but once it's inflated and in place, it makes a huge difference. It turns the seat area into a cozy little bed so your toddler can actually stretch out and rest.It's soft and surprisingly comfortable, and best of all—kid approved! My little one was totally content and actually napped during the flight, which never happens. It helps keep toys and blankets contained too, instead of sliding off the seat every five seconds.If you travel often with a toddler, this is 100% worth bringing along. A few extra minutes of setup is well worth the comfort (and sanity) it brings for both kid and parent. Total game-changer for long flights!

This seat extender is wonderful to be able to offer some extra space and comfort for little legs during long flights. It is easy to install without having to go around the seat in front of or behind you which I prefer so you don't feel like you are infringing into other passengers space. The material is velvety smooth and super soft, a lovely padding both for the seat itself and thick durable material for the extended part.I appreciate that this can be easily laundered so that you can be sure to sanitize it (airplanes can be nasty). Functional and easy to set up as well as take down during or towards the end of flight. Folds fairly compact but is a thick material so does require a small amount of storage space in carry on or backpack.
