The wrap works great, but I'd recommend finding a solid mallet. I was about ten minutes into working on my daughter's glove. I cocked my arm up in between strikes when the ball detached from the handle. It flew across our living room and our TV by about two feet. Thankfully, none of my kids were standing right in front of me watching, as they normally do. I strongly recommend you buy the wrap on it's own, then look for a solid mallet that isn't glued together.

Not sure how you can mess this up, but they did. Pounded the glove 5 times and the ball detached from the handle. Barely any glue.

Wooden mallet separated (ball from handle) in about 10 whacks into the glove. Would look elsewhere for a glove mallet.
