Pretty and functional. It actually pretty versatile, as it can be used to store/ hold other various items as well, such as diapers, device chargers, small toys, grocery bags, a pair of shoes (much nicer looking than just kicking them off and leaving beside the door, etc. The hyacinth is thick, attractive and tightly woven. Both sides of the top open (see my photos). Makes for nice looking storage in plain sight. Would actually make a good hostess or housewarming type gift.

This is a lovely wicker basket but it is made specifically for holding and concealing rolls of toilet paper, but the MEGA XL toilet paper rolls do not fit. It is woven from water hyacinth, well made, and the lid is divided, flipping open on each end toward the middle. It is also lightweight, with handles on each end, making carrying a breeze. It seems sturdy and durable. It can be used for storing toilet paper or used in numerous other applications, such as organizing gardening or craft supplies, cleaning products, and hiding clutter. However, while this basket will hold up to four rolls of most toilet paper sizes, this basket will NOT accommodate the MEGA XL size toilet paper, which I found disappointing as that is the size I generally purchase.This basket is fairly compact, measuring approximately 11” long, 6 1/2” wide and 9 3/4” tall with lid. It will fit into many tight spaces. Importantly, the website says this can be cleaned gently with a damp cloth.This is pretty and functional, but sadly it does not hold the jumbo toilet paper rolls claimed on the website. I will repurpose it, or purchase the smaller MEGA toilet paper rolls and enjoy it in my bathroom. I like this, and would have given it five stars based on the quality of this product, but since it is made for toilet paper, and the jumbo rolls do not fit, I dropped it to three stars. It is also rather expensive.CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Clean gently with damp cloth. For dusting I will use a soft brush.Thanks for reading :)

The smell from this was beyond overwhelming. I hoped after a few days it would air out, but it never did. I had to send it back. If it didn’t have an odor it would have been perfect.
