Unit took under an hr to put together used next day to pour 60 yrds and went great. Only thing I would like different is the controls on the right side

I finally received my screed after playing phone tag with shipping company for a week. They kept telling me it would arrive between 12 and 5 pm. But never did. They kept trying to deliver it around 6-6:30 and someone had to be there to sign for it! Twice they called me after I had went out to dinner after 6pm and I told them just drop it off at my residence cause I receive packages their all the time. But refused. The next big problem with tomahawk was the motor was mounted wrong! The motor comes in a box premounted on the handle unit. After I installed the the screed bar is when I noticed something was wrong. You can see in the two pictures that pull cord and gas tank are in the wrong place. Luckily I’m mechanically inclined to do a lot of my own repairs. I had to detach motor from housing and rotate 180 degrees. Needless to say I couldn’t use it for my 40 yd pour the next morning, had to use my old faithful vibrastrike to finish the job. I let you know how it works in my next review. Unhappy in NY. Steve
