I tried these sandalwood incense sticks and found they have a strong, sweet woody scent. They burn slowly and evenly, filling the room with a pleasant, sandalwood aroma. The sticks are short and burn clean with minimal smoke, which is nice. I'm a big fan of Japanese incense because it's coreless so there's no burning bamboo smell and just the scent of the incense. I like that they smell natural and relaxing, perfect for meditation or just unwinding. They're a good quality incense, and I'd recommend them to anyone who enjoys sandalwood.

Expansive but beautiful smell: subtle, not strong, pleasant fragance. Love it. Wish the price is less and more reasonable to use daily

These are great incense sticks, from the scent to the burn time, and the packaging. These work well when you want something that won’t take forever to burn, but want a nice smell.

I thought I'd try these because of the area they come from in Japan, and they're inexpensive $10.00 for hand crafted incense. Not sorry I tried them. they'er a good clean burn and smell nice. The burn is clean and smokeless so I burn them several at a time. Only issue is that the fragrance is subtle when burning only one six at a time, but because of the low cost I don't mind. I'll buy them again for daily use incense. They come in nicely wrapped box. I haven't noticed any broken sticks."Bad news for me". I noticed that they are currently unavailable. I hope that they return soon at the same low price.

The scent as I opened the box is very strong. Almost like a too strong cologne.However, as it burns, it is pleasant. With a buttery, woodsy smell. Absolutely lovely!

Lovely smell; no bare stick portion; burns pretty long for size; small sticks; break easily. Be gentle!
