Solid brass construction with a touch of modern contemporary look and feel. Not the cheap materials with gold/brass coating that feel light and don't have the 'COOL' feel of a solid brass fixture. Please note the towel ring does not swing, so there are no moving parts on this assembly. Gold and brass tones are difficult to match since there are many different gold/brass shades and tones, color matching requires additional focus and attention to make sure all your plumbing fixtures match. So if you have Kohler modern brushed brass color fixtures, and prefer something that looks modern (vs. a classic stately look and feel), then this may be a good option for you.
