This is even cuter in person. The Santa is comes with is cheap looking, and looks nothing like the photo. I purchased a bigger Santa and threw the Santa this came with, away.

I love our little climbing snow man. It's durable, the material feels cheap but it doesn't look cheap. Lights are bright and I like that you can switch the lights from different flashing modes or just solid, it has a long cord making it easy to plug in anywhere, my toddler is usually scared of santa but she approved of this one lol.

I have hung it from my chimney on the side of the house for a couple of years now. Last year my neighbor asked me when I was putting it up- her girls were looking for it after Thanksgiving and I was being lazy. It has a nice amount of iight.It is definitely small, but from the street it doesn't look so small- from a child's perspective it is 100% fine and that is what counts!

If you look at the stock photo you would assume that the ladder and Santa is much larger than a standard Christmas tree. This is not the case. There is no way that ladder would cover the length of the wall. It is not small; but it's not very large either. It kind of goes down not quite half of a regular door. I failed to look at the actual size, and just relied on the photo. It's usable though...The lights are really bright when you turn the lights out. So you will need to turn them off if you want to get some shut eye.It has several settings; but they don't seem to be consistent. In the beginning it had a very slow blink; where I almost thought it was defective. Then it has an extremely wild bright blinking setting, which almost gave me a headache. Then there was a solid setting. This setting I liked the most.After a while the lights went totally out; which again...I thought maybe the device was detective. However, when I hit the little switch button to reset it, it started displaying another type of variety of settings; where the blinking was a little faster than the slow, and a little slower than the fast setting. Then when it was solid, the light was not consistent.I do like it. But it's not something that you can really hang out doors; because it wouldn't be that large to make a grand statement from the street. You might want to hang it in your living room window, or display it on a door, or interior wall.The ladder is made of a cheap plastic. The wiring is delicate, so I would not yank on it too much. Assembly was pretty easy. Everything was attached but the Santa. You can attach him to the ladder with the velcro that is sewed onto his hands.All in all... The display adds a creative touch to your holiday decor. I took a photo with the house lights on, and one with them off...so you could see the difference.
