I received these to review from the vine program. It’s a decent set of pliers for the price. About the quality I’ve seen from the cheapies at harbor freight or in the bins at other stores. I tried out a pair of needle nose from a different company at the same time and those snapped when trying to cut through a zip tie.

These pliers seem sturdy and well constructed. The finish is good and I anticipate they will serve me well for many years.

This makes for one of my favorite pliers out there. The most appealing feature from this set of pliers is the jaws. These may not be the most "combinatorial" type of jaws out there, but the simplicity in jaw pattern and sharp grooves gave me just the right amount of bite working with hex nuts and bolts; which constitutes bulk of my work as a weekend DIY warrior. The handles are bare, but have frictional pattern on them. Even on greasy nitrile gloves, these handles still manage to behave well. The slip slot did take some breaking-in to get that degree of freedom, but once that's done, it's become very easy to switch between the grip sizes. I've had these for over 2 months now and I got nothing but high raves to say about this set of pliers. These pliers are harder to come by nowadays except for some very cheaply low quality sets. Owning this set made by Crescent just puts so much ease in my mind and I've had great turn outs with these jaws, never disappointed me so far. Highly recommended.

Top of the line tools in my opinion. I have used Vraftsman and CeeTee tools for many years.

These pliers are a solid addition to any toolbox, imho, offering versatility and durability in a compact size. They feature a comfortable grip that reduces hand fatigue during extended use, and their hardened steel construction ensures they can handle a variety of tasks from wire cutting to gripping small objects securely. The precision-engineered jaws provide a firm hold without slipping, making them ideal for a wide range of applications. Some users might find the pivot point a bit stiff initially, however, though this does loosen with use. Overall, for their price point, these pliers deliver great value with reliable performance.

These pliers will go in my emergency tool kit for the car. I wasn’t expecting much for $8, and they met my expectations- sloppy slip joint, uncomfortable bare metal handles, and rough working surfaces that are not ground. I put a couple layers of shrink tube on the handles to make them a bit more comfortable.I thought they were an OK deal, until a quick Amazon search for slip-joint pliers showed several excellent ones for under $10. For my next pair of inexpensive 8” pliers I will go for one of those, with molded handles, precise joint, and ground surfaces, like my all-time favorite pair of Craftsman pliers.

The pliers are alright. They're not the same quality as I am used to from this brand but for $8 I don't think I could expect more. They handle tasks around the home well but are not professional grade by any means. The workmanship is fairly sloppy with the center rivet quite loose. Overall, not impressed but also not outside the realm of expectation at this price. 3.8/5
