These are not great on hardened material. I mean they're actually bad .

These are nice end mills, on par with what I typically get from McMaster Carr. They have a very sharp edge and the material is heavy and dense. Inpressive!

The golden coating is good for cutting hardened steel, very wear resistance and stable, the black coating is good for stainless steel, the blue coating is good for dry cutting, very efficiency. I will buy it again.
