Skip this one. I had a bad feeling about ordering a no-name part from Amazon yet I did it again, tempted by the quick shipping. It appeared decently made -- but the dimensions on the plastic fitting are just slightly tight. I spent 20 min and could not get it on all the way. This is with lubrication and dipping the plastic end in hot water so it was more pliable. I was pushing so hard I was sure I was going to break something else. I then bought a Gates hose from O'Reilly and it took me all of three minutes to get it on. You can see a comparison of the Amazon hose vs the Audi OE hose I took off the car. The Audi hose is ramped inside whereas the Amazon hose has a right-angle and it felt like that's where it was catching. Also note it is not formed to shape like the other hoses -- meaning that when you attach it in the car the bend constricts the flow slightly -- it looked less constrictive than other spots in the coolant system.A removal and reinstallation note. If you look at the pictures you'll see it's keyed with slots at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions. If you are removing you won't be able to twist. A slight rocking up and down helped a bit with removal and re-installation. At a minimum put some antifreeze on there when you re-install -- or a lubricant but I would be careful that it is compatible with the o-ring (petroleum is a bad idea).

This kit seemed to work fine for a few weeks but it started leaking and material gets much hotter than OEM. Trying to return it but it says Iām outside the return window by a few days. Amazing. So frustrating.
