Easy To Install

Step 1
Remove terminal block cover.

Step 2
Attach power cord strain relief and Put power cord through the strain relief.

Step 3
Remove center terminal block screw (B) and remove neutral ground wire(E) from external ground conductor screw (A).

Step 4
Connect neutral ground wire (E) and ground wire (C, white) of power cord under center terminal block screw (B).

Step 5
Connect neutral wire (F, green) of power cord to external ground conductor screw (A)

Step 6
Connect remaining hot wires to outer terminal block screws. Tighten screws.

This is a very high quality cord. It is heavy 10 gauge and constructed very well. It is better quality than the other 240 volt cord I have, and it cost half as much. Not sure if 6 feet is long enough, get this cord.

Cord itself felt fine though it was alot more flexible than the prior one we had of same gauge. Ran a few loads and no noticable warming of cable. The strain relief did not fit Amana or insignia or Samsung. As others have said, trimming and reshaping solved the problem but took time.

It was long enough to use on my stackable whirlpool washer and dryer. The receptacle is in the base board and the cord had to reach from the top of the dryer to the floor. It works perfect! Well worth the money.
