I am so very glad these are still being made! I need a second one for my other bike and couldn't figure out who made my original one until today!! I had bought one for me and one for my husband from about company which is in no way as solid and I can't deal with the poor quality. These are tricky to install at first but I have no trouble with that because that is what makes mine so solid over the years. Happy day for me..... I'm now buying a second for me and one for my husband! 13 years and still no issues!

Se monta muy fácilmente y es discreto (para que no me lo quieran robar).Su estructura es de acero como indica, lo pude asegurar muy bien a mí manubrio y sostiene mi botella de agua sin caerse. Recomiendo.

Installation is not very intuitive, but it’s not very difficult to figure out. Once it’s installed, it is solid, much better than other similar products. I attached it to my son’s handlebars and so far, it’s great.

I bought this for my wife's bike, as it has a step through design and the bottle cage bosses are in an inconvenient spot. What I like about it:1. It's Topeak, so a brand that I trust to have done their due diligence.2. It is flexible. You can rotate the head, so it can be mounted on the handlebar or the stem, and you can have the bottle cage turned whichever way you want it.3. Once installed it doesn't look bad.The challenges:1. Installation was not super intuitive. It comes with instructions, but you do have to sort of take it apart in order to install it.2. I didn't break off excess material as the instructions hinted at. I didn't think I needed to, but I do wish the metal strap that wraps around the handlebar (or stem as you may prefer) was rubber coated. That would look more finished, and would protect the finish on the bike. There is a piece of rubber that is included as a sort of sheath around the band, but it doesn't provide full coverage. I cut up an old spare tube to wrap the bar first and prevent scratching in case the mount becomes loose and rotates on the bar.3. Being a tall mount, once you put a cage on it and fill the bottle you have created a pretty long lever to pull on. In other words, I find myself needing to tighten the mount more than I initially thought was required in order to make it stable. Otherwise, grabbing for a bottle while riding can result in moving the mount on the handlebar.Overall, for casual riding I think it's a good mount. I wouldn't necessarily use this on a mountain bike or any type of extreme riding, but for neighborhood and light trails or paths I think it will be just what we wanted.

Los tornillos van embutidos en plástico, por lo que hay que tener mucho cuidado a la hora de apretar. Difícil acceso para retirarlo.

I'm impressed with this clamp. It's nicely made, looks good, and works very well. I mounted it on a standard size handlebar and it holds VERY securely. You need to have a separate bottle cage but this clamp comes with two standard cage bolts and the hole spacing is standard so pretty much any cage will work AS LONG AS IT HAS RECESSED MOUNTING HOLES. The bottle cage mounting bolts will stick out and not allow free sliding of the bottle if the cage doesn't have a recessed area for the bolts. I actually used the cage from the M-Wave "quick release" unit and that cage mounted to this clamp yielded a very solid unit that holds a full water bottle exactly where I want it with no movement at all.At less than 7 bucks with free super saver shipping from Amazon you can't beat this. I LOVE it when something actually works the way I think it should and this fulfilled my need exactly. I highly recommend it.
