I wanted the hydro model but it rubbed the wheel. So I modeled this one by reinforcing the interior with some metal and drilled holes in it to attach a small road morph and one bottle cage to the outside. I know it violates "the rules" but I'm often far from home alone and carry tools and tubes and food plus extra water on hot days because it can be long distances to water in northern San Diego county. Construction is topeak exquisite! Solid zippers. Double walled. Yellow interior makes everything visible. Cell phone pocket is on the small side but fits iPhone 5 just fine. This is not waterproof as I learned in this years tour de Tucson. Even got my phone wet with it in a ziplock Baggie. I've got about 1200 miles on it being abused with an additional water bottle on the outside and a pump on it too. The fixer version easily interchanges between bikes. It rubs the chain stays on my bike. I'm 5'9". On titanium it is just polishing the stay. On carbon you better protect the frame where it contacts.

Bought this to keep a set of tools and other conveniences in. I tend to do things a bit overkill, and wanted something that would fit everything in it (gives me a warm fuzzy even if I won't use most of it) and would be easy to put on and take off. While there were a lot of options that fit those two requirements, I also wanted something that was vertically oriented along the seat post so that it wouldn't interfere with my trunk (which I don't always use - hence wanting the seat pack) and was side opening (so that I could get in and out without needing to remove the trunk). The Mondopack not only fit all of those requirements, it was one of the only packs I could find that did.I'm very happy with it - it's well made, easy to take with you, just roomy enough, and doesn't interfere with the trunk. Everything I was looking for. If I could change one thing, I'd have Topeak sell a raincover for it, but that's not a problem that I can justify removing a star for.I've managed to stuff in here (from memory - might be missing one or two small things):* Topeak Alien II multi-tool* Burketek Pocket Wrench II* A full set of Torx driver bits* A full set of metric hex driver bits* Phillips / flathead bits* 4" driver bit extension / holder* (2x) 3ml dropper bottle of hand sanitizer* (2x) 3ml dropper bottle of sunscreen* Mini pill container (from CVS)* FourSevens Mini 123/ML LED flashlight* Anker 3000mAh portable cell battery* Micro USB cable (for the Anker battery)* A spare tube* Rema touring patch kit (a bit redundant w/ the spare tube, but has my girlfriend covered on rides then too)* IceToolz tire levers* 6" locking pliers* A children's silicone swim cap which I use as a raincover for this* (2x) KMC Missing Link II's* Bandaids* Alcohol wipes* $20 emergency money* Pocket Fresnel magnifier (credit card sized)

I bought a medium aero case and found it to be a little small. This one is perfect for 2 tunes, CO2 Inflator, spare cartridge, patch kit, tire levers, and a good size multi-tool. The right side pocket is just the right size for my Samsung Galaxy S4. Quality is outstanding, fit and finish is spot on. You don't need alot of seat post to mount it on. 5 1/2" is more that enough. I've never bought a bad topeak product

I got it a few days ago and I did have a ride with it on the bike a couple times, so far is a perfect bag.I expected it to be bigger since people were saying that the XL was huge, but I think is not so much as big as it is long, some frames may not fit this kind of bag because of the length, if you put a meter to see how long it goes down it takes exactly 8 inches(20.3cm) from the small metal bars supporting the saddle, the bag itself is a little longer but because of the mounting system it doesn't take the full length down the seat tube as a few inches are kind of parallel to the bottom of the saddle. When I first got it I instantly though I should have gone for the XL version, but now that I see it on my bike (26" wheel, 16" seat tube)I think is just about right, anything bigger than this will look cumbersome on the bike, also the fact that the size is a bit restrictive for me is actually a good thing, I'm a paranoid parrot and I would pack another bike in spare parts just in case, so being limited to just a few things is good as that will keep the overall weight of the bike low and will reduce the risk of losing the pack on bad roads because is to heavy. The mounting system is heavy duty, I took some nasty bumps on my last ride and I like to jump out of the sidewalk when I leave my house, the thing doesn't even move.I'm uploading some pictures so take a look at the customer pictures or at my profile to see how it looks on the bike.

A beautifully designed and crafted bicycle pack! An anchor attaches to the under-structure of the seat, from which the pack firmly clips and unclips in case you want to tote it around by hand. A supplemental Velcro strap holds it steady to the seat post.It fits perfectly forward of a rear-bike-rack trunk, transforming an otherwise empty space into yet more storage space (see customer photos for one I added showing this). The fact that it opens from the sides -- and is the only seat pack I've found with this side-opening feature -- also makes that placement perfect, since if it opened from the rear like the other saddle packs on the market, the trunk would be in the way. It must have been designed with this placement in mind.
