I have tried multiple portable bike pumps and this is my favorite. I am a commuter cyclist and I carry my pump with a spare tube, etc., in my backpack. Some pumps have too many features when all you really need is a secure valve fit, a good way to hold it, good air pressure in each stroke, and strength in materials. Topeak makes well designed pumps.

Small & solid. But extremely hard to use on Dunlop valves. Air keeps escaping. You'll need to push the pump against the valve to try to keep the air going into the valve. Managed to get enough air into the tyre but it was a struggle. Will test on a Schrader valve next time.

This little pump is AWESOME! I attach it to my work commute bike as the roads I have to take to get to work are in terrible condition and routinely have debris on them. I outfit my road bike with puncture resistant inner tubes and Gator Skin tires to try and prevent flats but even after outfitting my bike to cope with the road conditions occasionally I will get a flat and that's where this little Topeak Pocket Rocket Pump springs into action. The pump is light and nimble, attaches to your water bottle cage and off you go with the peace of mind that if you get a flat your ride doesn't end there!!I highly recommend this pump, I own several other cycling items made by Topeak and I love every single thing I own made by them. They build quality cycling gear for all bike enthusiast beginners and pros alike.

I've used this pump several times, it is easy to use and pumps up a tire as expected. As a compact unit you do have to pump many times, but this is a small effort considering the nominal cost and excellent quality. This model is a great improvement over the previous pocket rocket as the pump head is more solid and secure on a tube valve.

This is a nice pump for emergencies as it comes with a bike attachment. Takes a little bit to pump up the tires but that is expected with a small pump like this. Works well if your not using it as your main pump.

I had been using CO2 for my emergency road air but it blew out the gasket after changing a flat leaving me to walk home in 100 degree heat. I decided to try a pump as a replacement and after looking at different sites and shops and the reviews, I chose this one. I am very pleased. It's probably about the same weight as the CO2 pump with chargers. It fits very nicely with the bottle cage bracket on the downtube and doesn't interfere with riding at all. If you're concerned about every last bit of aerodynamics, it probably doesn't make the grade but I don't think any frame mounted pump could do better.Functionally it works great as well. I emptied the tires and tried it out. Inflating the tires only took a few seconds longer than using the floor pump.Best of all, I now have room in my tool bag for 2 spare tubes giving any extra margin of safety and confidence. I recommend it highly.
