Everything was perfect. You do have to use your brain a little and its easier if you have help but possible to assemble alone. Only flaw i found was that my cats would try jumping down from one of the playforms and get its paw stuck on it. It was yelling in pain at 5am and had to get it out. I recommend placing a mat or something to prevent your cats’ paws from getting stuck. Also recommend tieing down the platforms because they tend to fall when cats are playing on them roughly(unless your cat(s) are calm).

Great quality. Great for rabbit sized animals but rat size reaches the limit. Our female adult rat unwittingly showed us that she can get in and out of the bars as she pleases. I thought our only concern would be the bottom of the cage but it's on all sides. Our adult male rat is unable to fit through though. I don't know if we'll be able to return the cage. We'll need to spend extra money to get chicken wire to go around the whole thing. Wish there were bigger cages for rats that don't have wide bars and cost nearly $300 or made of wood.

Very awkward to assemble. It requires 2-3 people because the pieces are all connected and do not stand alone without being supported. Once assembled our cat loved it. Cries all the time to be put in it outside. Overall very pleased with this product.

I have two tabby cats that are fully grown. Both of the cats could be in the cage if they want to, but it is mainly just the boy. It is easy for him to climb up and down on the levels and he adjusted to the cage pretty easily. I will say though, every time he leaves the cage, he always has these really long stretches, so I wouldn't advise leaving your pets in there for too long.

I bought 3 of these because I a colony of cat's that I've taken in and I'm getting them all TNR'd - I need a place for them to heal but I also need a place to house them as I try to relocate them as a full colony - the size is good, the shelves and ladder are crap - I don't like the metal grate style for the shelves - you have to put something down on top of it so the cat's can walk across otherwise it hurts their paws - it's like how dogs don't like waking on sidewalk train gratings - same reason - and the stairs are the same - stairs for any cages are like this though - none of them are made well or for comfort of the actual animal - the shelves are flimsy and pop up easily so I'm always checking them to make sure they're still in place and the stairs are flimsy and come away from the shelves they're supposed to stay attached to - so I used gaffer tape to secure the top and bottoms of the stairs and i used a cut moving blanket as a pad for the shelves - I gaffer taped those to the shelf as well - I used gaffer tape to tape over the entire step so the animals can feel comfortable climbing them .... all in all - the cage shell is fine, almost everything inside has to be altered to work properly - I don't even bother with the hanging cat bed - OH also, the roof of the cage doesn't click into place properly with out having to bend a few of the hooks / catches out first and then re-bend them back - I did that with the claw of a hammer - poor design for assembly

Everyone is complaining about the directions.. I am a 36 year old women.. Not at ALL good with putting things together.. I didn't even look at the directions.. I didn't need to! This thing was a cake walk to put together.. Good size.. Sturdy.. Just what I needed.. The only thing I would change would be to add 2 more perch covers but thats easy to fix.. Great product!! Very happy.

I bought this cage originally to keep my cat in it during the night and when not home so she wouldn't get into any trouble or hurt herself. I bought this back in October and so far it's done a good job. I do plan to purchase a new hammock for her since the one included with this cage is very flimsy and low quality that it ended up breaking after a few days. The cage however is very sturdy and durable. Assembly was pretty easy, the wheels were a little difficult to put on, but manageable. Cleaning the cage can be a bit of a pain and the shelves can pop off at times, but that can easily be remedied.

It was awful to assemble. The pieces were hooked onto each other when I took it out of the box and it was too intricately interwoven to take apart. The instruction sheet was terrible. Material is shoddy and the only reason why I am not returning it is because I would have to disassemble it to make it fit back into the box. When I move, I will probably take a sledge hammer to it. The pieces that are suppose to fit, really don't. This was a nightmare.

My foster kittens loved it! I did add soft material on the shelves that did have them and one of the kittens fell off of the high ramp coming down. I will probably add something they can grip if they slip on the ramps, but they totally loved it and slept in it even when I left the doors open. It will work great for the semi- feral fosters to stay contained to a smaller area until they learn to trust humans again. Great product!
