Using Steps:
1、Choose a drill bit smaller than the screw, Position the drill bit over the screw's center and drill a hole.
2、Flip to the extractor side. Use the thread screw apply pressure in a clockwise direction to grip the fastener.
3、Use a wrench or impact drill counterclockwise to remove the screw.

I had a couple of old rusty screws in my snowblower that were completely stripped, but I needed to remove. This extractor set worked exactly as described – – gripped well and the extra torque of the drill was able to get the screws right out, even though they were very much rusted in place. Seems like a high-quality, well-made set. The smaller set has plenty of size options for most uses, and the ease of which they accomplished the task made the value seem like a no-brainer.

Working on a vintage VW Bus as well as vintage electronics it’s inevitable that I’ll sometimes come across a stripped screw or rounded nuts. I have purchased several stripped screw extractors and most purport that they will last a long time and won’t themselves strip, but in my experience that has not been the case. So far with this kit I have extracted a couple of completely stripped screws that absolutely would not come out no matter what tool I tried. Using this kit’s screw extractors I have been completely successful in not only removing the screws, but keeping the screw extractors themselves in good shape and not worn out after first use. So, these have saved me a ton of time, they have worked exceedingly well, and do a great job at gripping those stubborn worn out screws. I really like that this set has a large variety of pieces (21 in all) so you should have no trouble finding the exact screw extractors or nut extractor inside. I’m super happy to have finally found a good quality strong kit that is a great price considering all. Definitely a recommend from me to any hobbyist, auto repair enthusiast, or homeowner who will eventually come across a stripped screw or worn nut.

Wanted this for when I needed to remove stripped screws. Used it last week to try and remove a kitchen cupboard knob that just wouldn't come off and trying to do so was stripping the standard screw head. Did not find that the drill bit on the extractor combo to be effective so ended up using a regular drill bit to get the starting hole for the extractor. Extractor did get the screw to spin (had to go up one extractor size). Have not used to bolt/nut extractor yet. Overall happy to have it.

This set came in super handy as I inadvertantly rounded out a bolt while replacing a stabilizer jack on my travel trailer. Normally I would have resorted to a vise-grip and a hammer but fortunately this set came through after some patience and lots of penetrant. Someone at the factory overtorqued the bolts with an air-tool for sure. Anyways the extractor bit was of a solid quality and with a breaker bar was able to finally remove the bolt. Everything in this set looks durable. I have not tried out the stripped screwdriver bits yet. A++++ and with the discount - an even better value.

With the range of sizes, nearly any situation is covered. I would like to see a set of left-hand drill bits to go with this set. And a square drive adapter for the long extractors.
