...be the first to fail but I wanted unfinished and for the price these are nice. These are relatively speaking lightweight wooden hangers in comparison to some others on the market that are more expensive. They came in clean and dust free which indicates to me as a former woodworker that the factory has decent conditions for a dust environment. The finish was smooth. If the dowel separates I can always use a good adhesive to reattach. I wouldn't hang anything sopping wet on them but I am satisfied overall with the purchase since I don't like varnish or other paint coatings for this application. If you're careful with them they should last.

I am in love! These are unfinished, matte in natural color. They are beyond what I expected, I ordered six boxes! If you have an open closet and want to showcase clothes on natural wood hangers, these are stunning. I went through everything before finding these. They’re long enough they don’t stretch out the sleeves and can hang pants so if you’re looking for uniformity in your closet, you have one hanger for both. They are very solid and sturdy, excellent quality. The hold heavy coats with no problem! The only drawback is if you need a space-saving option, these won’t work. They take up a fair amount of space so keep that in mind with small closets.

Whilst I probably wouldn't use these to hang heavy winter coats, at first blush they're sturdy and arrived without defects. The natural untreated wood means that they don't have any polish or coating that can rub off on your clothes and they add a sophisticated, consistent hotel-vibe to the wardrobe. I love these sturdy, beautiful hangers! I ordered one package to test. My clothes drape nicely over them, the wood is very smooth. The notches are great for certain items, although I wish I could get an un-notched set as well for items that don't need it. I will be getting one or two more sets for the rest of my clothes. I have a feeling these will last forever.
