Another reviewer Mark gives detailed instructions on how to make this adapter depress the pin of the cylinder for it to work. I really don't think the set screw on the adapter is long enough to touch the pin on my cylinder in order for it to depressI have 4x 120l co2 cylinders with tr214 thread that won't fit into my drinkmate because the cylinders are too large in circumference to screw in. I couldn't find a hose that has female tr214 thread to male tr214 thread in order to directly hook up to my drinkmate so I bought this adapter in order to use it with one of the cga320 female thread to male tr214 refill hose kit adapters.So I'm essentially trying to make my 120l cylinders act like a big CO2 tank in order to fill my 60l cylinders.I tried with this adapter on 3 of the 120l cylinders and couldn't get CO2 to dispense. I also of course tried with a few 60l cylinders in case they were the issue.NopeThe CO2 will not come out of the 120l cylinder because when I use the pressure release on the refill hose - there is no gas that is released.Ugh. If anyone has any tips (especially in regards to trying to use my120l tr214 cylinders to either refill my tr214 60l cylinders or to hook directly up to my tr214 threaded drinkmate).... ..... Feel free to share.I guess I will have to return this

You have to use a screwdriver to adjust the pin to the right height to keep the 60L tank that is to be screwed in from leaking around the threads. The pin should be adjusted so that it is enough to push on the pin on top of the CO2 tank valve -- just enough to depress it. If the pin in this adapter protrudes too it will leak gas. If it is not out enough, the gas will not come out of the tank. Once you get this adjustment just right it seals properly. Another reviewer explains it in detail in case step by step instructions are needed. I am just commenting on it in general terms, not writing a how-to.There are no adjustment instructions or extra gaskets included. If so, I would have given this 5 stars.The item appears to be high quality and made from very heavy metal.

Adapting soda stream bottles can be tricky. Sometimes things dont quite fit right (height to seal) worked with modification for my regulator.

Device came with Male Thread for Tank Connection...Needed Female Thread. The Connection to the Soda Stream tank was just fine.Returning this looking for correct thread.

This device allows you to attach a Sodastream CO2 canister to a standard regulator. It comes with no instructions. Here is how you set it up. There is a small set-screw that needs to be adjusted to depress the valve at the top of the canister. First loosen the set screw (turn counter clockwise). Attach the device tightly to the canister. Now tighten the set screw until it just touches the top of the valve. Now remove the device and tighten the set-screw one half a turn. Secure it in place with a drop of super glue or Lok-tite. Now attach the device to your CO2 regulator. Finally, attach to canister to the device/regulator combo. As you do so, that half-turn will open the valve and pressurize the system without allowing all the gas to drain into the room. That’s it!

This was purchased to use with home beer brewing set up. Works for both carbonating and serving beverage connects to standard regulator for CO2. Appears to be a good quality well-made hard nickel plated metal. If you were looking for an alternative to large CO2 tanks especially for service, look no further this little coupler works great and on the cheap!

The threads on this aren't long enough to properly seal into the CGA320 on a FZONE Mini 3.0 Regulator. It will allow gas to escape.
