I'm not impressed. For all the hype this is just another spray head. There is no perceptible difference between this head and the basic Toro spray heads. Save your money and use the basic heads.

Update--these work better at 10' or more, and not so good at 8' if you require radius accuracy. I would not use them for an 8' application. If you have used the preset radius nozzles before, these seem to work as good, at least at 8'. The precise water flow feature is the best part of these nozzles in general, but many people may not be happy with Toro for two reasons. One is that supply parts distribution is not as good as Rainbird / Hunter. The other is that the nozzles are susceptible to clogging if used for lawns and the thread connection to shrub body use is susceptible to pin-hole leaks due to possible water scaling or insufficient tightening. So there is a trade-off--more maintenance and harder to find parts, versus the really good water flow feature, which Rainbird or Hunter is nearly not good at.

When buying remember this series nozzle does not supply the gallons per hour (GPH) of the standard nozzles. The watering rate specified is for overlapping zones where another head's output touches this nozzle. If this is not the case you need to double the run time to provide the specified water delivery. Performance is very good as it does not tend to atomize like the higher volume nozzles. I have used them for three years and can say by the reduction in atomization you do save water and given the slower watering rate, more soaks into the soil vs runoff. I am pleased and continue to use them on my Florida lawn.
