But then, the original broke in under fifty hours of use and was not abused. So, if this is as good as the original equipment, I guess I'll be disappointed. However, considering the design and application, it's a miracle it works at all. As far as I can tell, these things are not easy to replace--at least it wasn't easy for me (but that's not the fault of the cable itself). It can be done but doing it in the presence of small children is not recommended.

This product was easy to install. Fit great. I suggest watching a few You Tube videos to get an idea how to do it.
