My 2013 Subaru Impreza wagon threw the dreaded code for torque converter lockup circuit low and after a little research I discovered it was indeed just this solenoid based off ohm readings at harness, (should be 13 ohms and I was reading 4.6 ohms). I pulled the valve body, installed this new solenoid, and reassembled. I have now been on two roadtrips well over 400 miles combined and no problems. Before you buy a $2000 valve body; give this solenoid a try.Note: this solenoid does require some mechanical skills to replace but it's more intimidating looking than it really is. You will need a smaller size torque wrench in order to tighten the valve body bolts back in transmission but they can be purchased at Harbor Freight or I'm sure even here on Amazon. The job took me about 2 hours to complete, I worked a bit slow since this was new territory on this particular car for me.This solenoid was definitely worth the purchase.
