Works great and a perfect fit. I installed this on an old 2 1/4 ton Napa floor jack I bought back in the mid 90's. The handle stays up again. Good price too.

This is universal and should fit most all hydraulic floor jacks where the handle will not stay up. It was a little work to install, having to remove two bolts and position the spring while reinstalling them, but was able to get it done and it works perfect.

I have an old Sears 3 ton service jack, Model No. 875.501152. One of the legs of the torsion spring eventually rusted through and broke off. I’ve read reviews that have stated Sears sends you the incorrect replacement spring for this jack. So the part number listed in the jack’s owner manual must not be the correct part number. Or over time, Sears may have reassigned the part number to a different spring, however I’m just speculating why there is an error when ordering this spring from Sears. After checking the dimensions and thickness of my broken torsion spring with the specifications listed of this spring; and the photos really helped too, they were extremely close. I installed the spring and it works perfectly. The spring doesn’t have the strength to lift the handle from the floor to the upright position; however it does hold the handle at any angle you place it in and I prefer that anyway. I wouldn’t want the handle rising up and striking the painted bumper of my vehicle.
