I dabble in linoleum carving for printmaking. Some linoleum I've bought in the past is quite tough and hard to carve, which makes it easy for your carving tools to skip across the surface. This linoleum is super soft and makes carving really easy, plus it's soft enough that it can be easily cut using scissors if you want smaller pieces. Great for making little stamps or big linocut prints. When I run out I'll definitely get this brand again.

I am a block print artist who also used to do silkscreen printing on shirts. But I stopped doing silkscreen once I found an ink that could be used with these soft blocks on fabric! Now, when I do shirts, they come out looking just like my actual prints. It gives each shirt a one-off look. After all, art is in the imperfection. The Japanese term for that is wabi-sabi.

Fairly easy to work with. Give when you carve is similar to if you were catching a block of mozzarella. Some give, but not too much. Would buy them again.
