I am so happy with this drain snake tool. I have long, thick hair, and my bathtub drain constantly gets clogged with hair. This tool unclogged it and pulled out everything with ease. It’s super easy to use, I just attached it to the drill, feed it into the drain, and let it do the work. The only thing I wish is that the pack came with different size options for longer drains

I have a DrainShroom for my tub and it works great so I figured I would give these clog removers a try since they are from the same company. Unfortunately, these are not a win for me. When they are connected to my power drill, the drain snake will get super twisted on itself before twisting down below where it should be twisting. The first one I used broke from the twisting so I had to use another one. It did pull out some hair which is good, but I really wish it worked better with my power drill.

It should be 6-12 inches longer, doesn't really hit the bottom of the drain where it turns into a U.Since it's plastic and they want to save on shipping it's packaged in a circle and you just cannot unbend it so it stays in the C shape. I even put it on the ground and put a piece of plywood on top and weighted it down to try to straighten it. It still revered back to the circular shape even after 2 days of sitting under the plywood straightened out. When you use it in the drill the bend keeps it from spinning effectively because the diameter of the drain is a lot less than the diameter of the circular C shaped plastic drain piece. It works only for the top few inches then just doesn't seem to contact all of the surface in the drain. This falls under the category great idea in theory but doesn't live up to expectations.

Theses are terrible. I went through half of them and then just ended up throwing the other half in my goodwill bin because they were junk. They are curled up out of the package, it's extremely hard to get them to straighten out, you have to attempt to bend then back like every inch and even then it's still not straight enough to really use, but it's "somewhat" usable if you really put the time into trying to get it as straight as possible. If you don't spend a ton of time trying to get it as straight as possible, the moment you try to drill it, it just wraps up onto itself and if you don't catch it quickly enough, you just snap it right off. Literally almost dropped the entire thing into the drain as I got about halfway in and started to drill pretty slowly and it like instantly bound up and just snapped in half with part of it sticking up out of the drain. It was then I realized OK, you REALLY have to get these things ultra straight in order to use them in any meaningful way. So that was 1 down, snapped in half using the drill on the slowest speed for not catching immediately that it tangled onto itself. Then onto the second one, where I spent like 5 minutes trying to get it as straight as possible by bending like every inch. It still does not get straight, but you can at least make it somewhat usable then, so i stick that down the drain and drill, then stop drilling and pull it out and the whole thing comes up with some drain "gunk" all over the shaft and i thought OK, I didn't grab onto anything, but at least it seems like I knocked some things loose, I continue to pull it out and because it's still not perfectly straight, it just launched drain goop all over my wall and mirror! OK, so now I've learned two lessons, keep it straight and grab onto the end when pulling it all the way out or it'll fling stuff everywhere. Grabbed a 3rd one, spent the 5 minutes straightening it out, go in for another try, again, comes up empty. Run some water, no improvement, exactly the same as it was before. Go and grab the cheap orange plastic drain unclogger tools that are also disposable but are lined with teeth that are bigger than the teeth on the end of these little green guys and from top to bottom instead of just the end. Shove that down there and with maybe 2-3 tugs back and forth a couple inches, back that out and boom, giant hair clog, came right out. I wasted like 20-30 minutes using these when I could have just used the cheaper and better alternative! Such a waste of time.Just grab the cheap orange ones sold all over amazon, they work much better than this thing, you do not need a drill, just a little back/forth on one of those and you'll grab whatever is down there.

I really like the idea of these DrainShroom sink clog removers, but I just couldn't get them to work for me. The plastic has great of bit of 'memory' once you take them out of the bag but aren't quite flexible enough to get straighter and I had difficulty advancing around the P trap (where I think our clog is located) even when my drill was barely rotating. I guess I will keep searching for a solution to slow draining in our bathroom sink.

This hair clog remover is a lifesaver for cleaning up those pesky drains without the mess. It's super easy to use, just slide it in, twist, and pull out all the hair that's been causing the backup. I was impressed by how much it got out with no hassle.

This is a good drain snake. You can attach this to your drill and it's easy to use. This is an affordable option for clogged drains before calling a plumber. To me, this is very similar to the tools plumbers use, so I can save money by doing it myself.

I love Tub Shroom and have bought multiple for every shower, and even Sink Shrooms for every sink in the house, so I really have a lot of trust in this brand and know them to make quality, sturdy products that aren't a gimmick, so this is really surprising they released such a poorly thought out and executed product. I know these are disposable, but they're especially thin and flimsy and it's almost impossible to remove the "memory" of them being wrapped up in the box and to get them straight enough to actually be useable. If you don't get them nearly perfectly straight, they immediately whip around and wrap against themselves, snapping almost instantly. If you do manage to get one almost 100% straight, you can attempt to use it, but it's so short and thin while lacking enough teeth to grip as well as its orange throw away competitors that it's honestly a waste of your time. These are so bad that I wouldn't even pass them off to someone else to try. I know they'll have the same experience and headache, so I'm just going to sadly toss the remainder. I sincerely hope this isn't a sign of things to expect in the future from Tub Shroom and this was just a fluke.
