It was hard to put on my window. Once I got it on, I put my curtains back up. The black bled into my curtains. Needless to say, I had to purchase new curtains because of it. I didn't even have it on for a year and it did that. I live in Florida so you have to understand that it is hot here a majority of the time. The window however is not in the sun all day. Just not a good product in my opinion.

The film on our roll, and maybe all of them.... is wrapped "backwards". The film is wrapped tightly around a very small diameter roll, and stored / shipped for who knows how long. It takes on a "set", and when you attempt to place it on your glass, it wants to roll away from the glass. If this film had been wrapped on a larger diameter cardboard tube, it likely would not be an issue. Also if it had been wrapped with the opposite side of the film around the tube, it would be curling toward the glass, not away. Pretty poor thinking by the manufacturer if this was intentional - which it appears to be.

Easy to install and cut to size. I used these to cover two large mirror closet doors. They color is solid black and completely opaque. The design is beautiful and subtle. I sprayed down the mirror with water before applying the film, I was able to push out any air bubbles with my hands and while the mirror was wet it was it was easy to move the sheet around as needed to adjust the fit. It’s been up for a couple months now and still solidly in place, I haven't had any trouble with the edges coming away from the mirrors.

Doesn't stick properly... It comes out all the time, couldn't stick even after sprinkling water and cleaning multiple times. Also, the product doesn't have the length and width to cover 2 windows properly.Really bad experience. Not at all recommended.Too mich expensive and cheated.

Had a bit of a hard time getting it to stick to glass, but it does the job (100% blocks the light). It is VERY thick, so you might have some difficulties cutting it.

My product had glue on it (not as advertised) which is ok and not a big deal for me- my problem is that it doesn’t actually block the light - I had to stick 2 layers on top of each other and light still seeps through. Was hoping to save money and avoid buying a blackout curtain… my current one is transparent …. But if I buy another set I might as well have gone to ikea and purchased a proper blackout - oh the waste !

Extremely disappointed. For the higher than average price I would expect it at least to attach to the surface, but no! It would fall off the next day. Obviously I couldn't return anything as it was cut by the time I understood that this product has a terrible quality. Complete waste of my time and money.

Used for privacy and more light in bedroom and side of living room with window facing neighbors’ window. Also back yard-facing window. Much better. Allows you to enjoy privacy but with light coming in through windows, without curtains making it so dark. Not completely private as at certain points/in certain lighting, you can discern “fuzzy” bed shape and probably some person in bed when standing on porch looking in from 3 feet away. (I close drapes at night.). The prism rainbow colors do not fully light up for my windows because the deck roof limits the incoming light able to bring it to fullest beauty, but the rainbow effect is quite lovely in the few flowers that “light up.” It is sparkly and crystal clear and lovely. Like lace made of cut crystal. Not 100% completely private at all times. But my windows are a distance from the road and I believe it is adequate especially when the light from the outside is brightest. At night with the light on inside, it is better to have draperies or curtains in addition, if you are security conscious. The interior of this house has a lot of wood paneling which sends an incredible abstract sparkle golden glowing light through the windows at night —really kicked it up a notch. Went from boring and meh to classy “high end.” Be sure to notice that there are several widths and lengths from which to choose. So measure your windows to see what would be the ideal width And be careful to choose the kind you really want so you don’t have to piece them together. I used a box cutter to cut them to size. My blades are not that sharp. At least the ones I bought I felt were not that sharp. It would be good to have a strong metal long ruler to hold down over the film while making the cut or use a pen or a marker with washable nonpermanent ink in case there would be some still on the film after cutting. Cutting around the flowers for a pretty effect requires sharp scissors. And patience. A partial 7/8 or 3/4 section of the film on window (rather than a 100% covering of film) may make you feel less blocked off from the outside world and hand cutting the flowers at the top gives a cut crystal vase like effect. I did that for one window.

This is a very nice and sturdy window film. I purchased over 4 rolls of the black floral film for my office. I ordered the 35x118 sizes. All 4 rolls were were slightly off in size. When I measured them, the widths were all 35 & 1/2, while the lengths were for some below 118 and some were over 118. While I do appreciate the grid in the back that helps in cutting, BUT when the measurements are all slightly off its hard to cut and figure out each one. Time consuming and tedious. I had to draw my own lines and measure again and again. I needed 32 x 103 so each roll I had to cut both width and length accurately for my office windows. Again this is a nice blackout floral window film, and sturdy enough where it does not wrinkly if bent.

I love this product, and have recommended it to several friends that have also purchased the very same design/pattern that I bought. I used it on my farmhouse door windows, as well as the two lower rows of windows on my farmhouse windows. to give me more privacy yet not block the light. The light still comes in and yet i have way more privacy. Should I want to actually see through this window film, i just have to put my eye right up to the glass and look through part of the flower patter I ordered. This may not be possible on the solid privacy option that does not have any pattern on the film. It looks beautiful IMO, and I highly recommend it. IT was VERY easy to apply. I was a bit leery as I read that so many people had a hard time separating the back of the film from the part you apply on your windows or glass. IT was a no brainier and just took patience to rub the corner of the film between my thumb and forefinger and bend the film a bit until I was able to separate the back from the front of the film and apply it. I would one hundred percent recommend this company and product.
