Used the 4" diameter 7" long version on my 98 12v Cummins just to take the edge off the straight pipe sound, and it does just that. Well built and a great value. Only complaint is that it's not the same diameter on both ends like most mufflers, which is pretty silly.

Works great on my 2002 Cummins. Bought a 4” for it just so it could be considered legal. Slight(very very slight) reduction in noise and no tone difference, but was to be expected. Would recommend this product. However, I did receive mine with one slip-on end and one weld-on end which was disheartening. Never the less, I made it work.

The muffler is small and fits in tight spaces. It also provides a great deep sound to the exhaust.
