I really like Toto toilet (I had one at home). However, this one was delivered broken. By the time my contractor was ready to open the package (passing the return date), it was found not usable and we had to get a rush one from a local store. Advice to future buyer, if you want to get this product, be sure to inspect immediately after receiving. At least, it will not be a total loss like us.

This toilet is very new to the market, and therefore, there were no reviews to check. We had tried to order the Promenade I from Lowe's, but days after we ordered (when we were expecting it to arrive), we discovered that it was on back order (boo Lowe's!) so we had to start over. I found this model at Decor Planet but was hesitant because I couldn't find any reviews anywhere. Finally I called Toto directly, and after getting transferred to Technical Sales by a rather rude Customer Service person ("You want "reassurance" that the toilet performs well???" she said, incredulous, clearly never having taken Sales or Customer Service 101) I finally got the answer I was seeking by a well trained and friendly technical guy. He told me to look at the reviews for the Drake II, because the guts are the same.This toilet is fantastic. It's everything you want in a toilet - quiet, low-flow (only 1 gallon per flush - bonus over the Promenade I), beautiful and as a one-piece, I look forward to ease of cleaning it. We have had it for about 2 weeks and I can't say enough good things about it. The fancy coating on the inside of the bowl seems to do the job of preventing the build-up of "skid marks," and I love that it uses just one gallon per flush.I was disappointed that the upcharge for a brushed nickel finish on the handle was more than $100 (!!), so we stuck with chrome even though there is no other chrome in the bathroom.Other than that, the Toto Promenade II is a great toilet, and I am sure that it will supplant the I since it seems to be everything that toilet is but uses 25% less water.
