Ordered this muzzle for my horse but had to leave it hanging outside for a few weeks to get rid of the strong chemical smell before I could use it.

I liked that the basket was narrower and more flexible than other feeding halters I've tried. However, the basket was worn and torn much sooner than expected. Could use some reinforcement around the hole that allows for some feeding.

My mare has a history of losing/pulling the grazing muzzles off. This one fit well. She does have sensitive skin so I added car seat strap covers and it stopped the rubs and fit the straps of the muzzle well.

Good news is it's easy to spot, when like all muzzles, it ends up in the field. At least it's well made and won't get destroyed.

My horse ripped the entire muzzle off the halter portion in 5 days. The tread is no thicker that what you would use to sew a bead sheet. It will not last. The nose holes were great though and the horse seemed very comfortable in the muzzle. Needs to be tougher.

The muzzle fits my draft well and love the color. However, mine seems to be missing the reinforcement strap on the center top of nostril area. I've gone through 5 muzzles in a year and really wanted to love this one. I will use it as its the only one I currently have, but if it's doesn't last because of the missing strap reinforcment, I will be returning it for a refund.

the tough 1 wasn't so tough, this lasted three days. The horse that had this on had been wearing his previous muzzle for 4 years and its still going strong. I chose this one bc of the extra air space. Would not recommend this at all
