It's just as described and expected, so at least four stars for that. Two comments, though - this and others like it do give some "cooling" effect when wet, but don't expect the cooling sensation to be anything particularly cold. Basically, it's a light, wet towel providing some shade and it can feel cooler than the air around it. Also, when I've worn this as a hoodie, the "sides" of the towel come pretty far forward on my face and can be a bit annoying to continually move back from blocking my vision, particularly all of my peripheral vision. I imagined using this hoodie-style on a really hot run leg of a triathlon and I am just not sure I will now because of how far forward it comes on my face. It can still be useful if I drape the sides over my shoulders and behind my neck/back, but not how I anticipated using it. All in all, it's another cooling towel and designed to be more easily wearable over your head, so it gets the four stars.

Here in South Carolina it is very muggy in the summer. I sweat like crazy in my garage due to the humidity. My body no longer regulates my temp very well so I have to find ways to keep cool in the heat. I saw this and hoped it would help.It's a good idea and it does cool a bit if you wet it first. I put it on dry and it didn't do anything really. It blocks the sun, but didn't really cool me off much. I remembered it says it's moisture activated and I thought I decided to wet it with water and wring it out. That helped. it kept me a bit cooler, especially when the fan blew on it. Kind of what I figured. I have tried those 'keep cool' towels that are the same. Once they dry out they don't work as well.Being fairly large it's also kind of awkward to get on correctly. Took me a little jimmying to get it mostly right. It wasn't really on my neck though, mostly head and my shoulders. In the garage it's ok as long as I keep letting the fan blow on it periodically, but outside is better as long as there is a breeze.It does help, but not as much as I hoped. And with the difficulty of getting it on I marked it as average 3 stars since it's just like the cooling towels you can get. Keep it damp and it cools, but it dries out fairly quickly when it's hot.

It works well and keeps you cool. It fits nice and dries quickly. It looks like a hat almost. Is great when outside in the heat working out or around the house outside. I definitely recommend it.

I ordered this to mow the lawn here in Florida. It worked well to keep me cooler and soak up the sweat, but I think it's a bit longer than it needs to be and would still work fine if it was a bit shorter.

I ordered this for my mom, who spends most of her time milling outside – no matter the weather but especially on days when it’s really hot because she refuses to just sit down and relax – even after suffering pretty bad heatstroke a few years back. Also, I should note that thiis my second cooling towel that I’ve bought for her, except the previous towel was from a different brand. So, we’re pretty used to how these works and she’s already a pretty big believer even keeping a cooling towel on her. Which brings me to the things she really likes about this specific towel:She really liked the hoodie-style which she said kept the towl on her head and providing ample coolness. She wanted me to point out that it works best with very cold water.She felt like this towel kept her much cooler for longer and seemed like a really good quality towel.

I like the design of this compared to a standard cooling towel, not only does it provide some cooling but it also protects my head from the sun. As someone else commented, this is probably better suited to someone who is bald, like me, or has very short hair, I'm not sure how effective it would be trough a full head of hair. I also found it better to twist the back pieces over each other to close off the gap at the back and provide better sun protection to the back of my neck. As with most of the theses cooling towels the initial cooling effect is great but doesn't last long, especially in the hot Florida sun. It does need to be continually 'refreshed' either by snapping the towel or re-soaking. Overall though the added benefit of the additional sun protection as well as the cooling makes it great for summer yard work.
