About this item

  • Tour Edge Hot Launch E522 Iron-Wood
  • Hollow body perimeter weighting creates the distance and MOI properties of a metalwood for maximum ball speed, distance and forgiveness
  • Offset design and heel sole weight square the club for a draw bias that stops shots from heading right
  • Super-thin, shallow forged cup face produces higher-flying, longer shots
  • Premium Mitsubishi Fubuki and KBS MAX 80 Shafts - The E Series Iron-Wood comes stock with the same super-light FUBUKI metalwood shafts by Mitsubishi that range from 55-grams to 60-grams depending on the flex and provides lower kick points that promise to help players achieve maximum velocity and a slightly drawn ball flight. The E522 Iron-Wood is also available in a KBS MAX 80 steel shaft, a lightweight low-kick point steel shaft that produces a high trajectory.

The Hot Launch E522 Iron set is available as a combo set that allows golfers to replace the long irons with Hot Launch E522 Hybrids, making this an extremely versatile iron set available for golfer's seeking Extreme Game Improvement spec clubs.
This versatile combo hybrid/iron set is designed for the moderate swing speed player, looking for a forgiving hollow-body iron that will maximize forgiveness and launch, while also providing two matching hybrids designed to achieve maximum distance with longer iron shots.

Being a senior golfer (70) I was looking for a little more distance and forgiveness. The heads are a little bit heavier than my previous clubs, which is perfect for my slower swing speed. I’ve used them for the past 6 months and have gained approximately 10 to 15 yards in distance with all clubs.I was so amazed at their performance that I purchased a #4 hybrid, plus a #3 and #5 fairway woods, and a 12 degree driver. They all performed as well if not better than the irons. This set so far has shaved 10 to 12 strokes off of my game.I couldn’t be happier. If you are a senior golfer, looking for a little more distance and consistency,I Highly Recommend these clubs.

First impression....the illustration leads you to believe that the iron/wood graphite shafts are gray in color but they are white. Hybrids are illustrated as being white which is ok with me, but I don't like the white iron/wood shafts. Also, the iron/wood club heads are bit heavy for this 76-year-old man with RA. I ordered the regular flex since senior flex wasn't listed as an option. I thought with graphite they would be lighter, and I would be able to swing the regular flex. I'm hesitant to remove the plastic head cover protectors as I might be returning them. The only way to know if i can handle these is to go the range which I will do tomorrow. I'll update after I've been to the range and play 18 holes in a couple of days. The 4 & 5 hybrid weight is perfect. Can't wait to see how I do with these as compared to my #3 Callaway hybrid.UPDATE...I decided to return these because 3rd party refund policy is for new, unused clubs. Partial on no refund if they show signs of being used. That's understandable. My 3 star rating is because of the white shafts and the weight. Someone without physical limitations and don't mind the shaft color would probably be happy with these.
