Kept frozen ice cream firm in the fridge for 24 hours! The lid does tend to stick shut in the freezer, so I screw it on as loosely as I can.

I use this to transport homemade ice cream I’ve made. Best to store it in freezer before using it, that way it keeps what’s inside at the same temp for longer.

Great item for when you and your kids are going out for rhe day and want to being a hot meal. I fill it with soup or stew or chili and we have a hot meal hours after packing. Quite large, more than a single person needs unless you are planning to eat more than once. Leak free, extended heat, and its cute!

It’s attractive-looking and easy to store in the freezer. I won’t test it on whether it keeps ice cream cold in South Texas summer weather. I had a very difficult time scooping out ice cream out of the thing and it is not easy to clean. The ice cream residue sticks all over the inside of the canister causing me to rewash it a few times till it looks better. Overall I will probably look for something else in the future.
