Came in undamaged box. White crates were filthy with black smears that wouldn't come off with dish soap or magic eraser.

These knive are very nice. A couple were scratched when they arrived, but I sent them back, and the new ones were prefect.

A bit on the short side. Nice quality, they say "PREMIUM" stainless.....well I guess it may be BUT the best stainless is 18/10 and this is 18/0 which I would not call premium as it's 3 steps DOWN....but still nice. FYI: first # is the CHROMIUM content and the 2# NICKEL......it is the nickel that adds to the durability (strength to retain finish).After a week or so I have decided they are just TOO small.

I am very pleased with the quality of these spreaders. They match my silverware set and are a good hand weight (i.e., feel balanced in the hand).

These have no heft to them at all. The posted product description for size is: .5 x 1.6 x 7.9 inches (copy and paste). I just measured a knife--it is a tad less than 6" in length. Very thin. I'm keeping them because I need them. Will shop for more later after thorough research. The local Bed, Bath, and Beyond has been carrying and I have been buying odd pieces of stainless cutlery--but no butter type knives. They are not expensive and have a real heft to them: iced tea spoons, tiny spoons, shrimp cocktail type forks, and the best soup spoons I have ever had my hands on. And yes, they have regular knife, fork, and spoon etc. pieces. When I checked the BB&B website I found no stainless cutlery accessories.
